The sugar can be grown all year round? And how do you manage to biofuel?
Hello, I am doing a project on science fair Biofuels from algae and I would like to help. I wonder if: A. The sugar can be grown all year or are you like corn? B. What is the sugar and alcol or is in the process of converting to biofuel? C. Are there other things that also nartural corn, soybeans, sugar, alcohol and D. Are there certain algae plants in Hawaii, which means that only biofuels from algae? In addition HR biopetroleum? E. What are the feelings about algae biofuel? Please do not be mean and please try to answer all the questions! Thank you!
(A) of sugar in itself is not cultivated. Some plants able to produce a relatively high content of sugar are grown, extract the juice, then boiled or dried to produce raw sugar. These plants are sugar cane, sugar beet and sugar maple. Beet sugar maple sugar occur only in temperate climates, like most of the United States. It is usually only produce one crop per year. Sugar cane can be grown in temperate climates, which produces only one crop a year, but most sugar cane grown in tropical climates where they may occur throughout the year, which explains much of what the fight is close to the rule of several states were dividing Virgin Islands. (b) the sugar itself is a type of biofuel. It is highly flammable and can be burned to produce heat. In order to use sugar power for a internal combustion engine, usually distilled to concentrate the fermented alcohol (ethanol). In modern green "," circles, this is called a biofuel. Traditionally, it has been named Ron and was used mainly to appease the potentially mutinous sailors. (C) Since the enzymes and the best processes, the whole plant may become a biofuel. The Kudzu infamous scourge of our Southern States comes to mind. Cellulose cell wall is composed of a polysaccharide (long-linked carbohydrate chains in a polymer) and may be chemically digested into sugar components. Or simply, you could eat or feed for livestock, which would be another form of biofuel, provided you have the feed on living organisms and machines to nourish life. Any plant material can naturally be decomposed in a closed environment and the methane can be captured and used as biofuel. The cows and their bodily waste produce large quantities of methane that currently is not especially recognized and exploited by many as a major contributors to the problem of greenhouse gas emissions. (D) I do not know of any power plant biofuels anywhere unless you have small facilities Research exploring the possibilities of biofuels for power generation. Most biofuels are plants for the production of various alcohols for hordes of cars. In most cases, the idea is Environmental Technologies. Corn-based alcohol, for example, produces only about 10% yield, once you take into account the fact that corn being very fertilizers and manure is oil. Planting corn, care, and harvested using tractors that run on oil. Once fermented, heat from the distillation of electricity from power plants are fueled primarily with coal. (E) Algae as a source of biofuels? Why Why not? Any plant for photosynthesis. All they take sunlight and convert it into different types of sugars and sugar disacharides (eg, starch) and polysaccharides (eg cellulose). Thirty years ago, the blue-green algae were considered a source of 'Green' fertilizer (I know this issue well, my opinion is a report of my experiences with various blue-green algae to fuel the growth of maize).

The Project $6.3 The nation is gripped by the shocking crimes: ''good kids'' who are suddenly, inexplicably lethal, shooting their classmates before fatally turning their guns on themselves. When Connecticut mom Dr. Lexi Bradley gets the call that her son Juan has become one of those shooters, her life is turned upside down. Ten years ago, Secret Service agent Bryan Atwood became an expert on school violence. Now the nightmare is back. Just as he is assigned to this new rash of killings, an MRI of Juan's brain reveals what must be pure science fiction. With Lexi's help, Bryan is determined to unearth the truth before more children die, but investigating a cross-country trail of buried horrors casts them both into a dangerous world where corporate greed can lead to sudden death. |

The Biofuel Delusion $79.95 Faced with the twin threats of peak oil and climate change, many governments have turned for an answer to the apparent panacea of biofuels. Yet, increasingly, the progressive implementation of this solution demonstrates that the promise of biofuels as a replacement to fossil fuels is in fact a mirage that, if followed, risks leaving us short of power, short of food and doing as much damage to the climate as ever -- let alone the consequent impact on biodiversity due to additional loss of habitat for agricultural production and on rural development due to the additional stress on traditional farming systems. Worse still, these risks are being ignored. In this definitive exposé, Mario Giampietro and Kozo Mayumi present a theoretical framework and exhaustive evidence for the case against large scale biofuel production from agricultural crops. This book will be vital, sobering reading for anyone concerned with energy or agricultural policy, or bioenergy as a complex system. |
