What products uncoltivated earth? Biofuels or food ...?

The world population is approximately 6 billion dollars become 12 billion in 2054 if the current growth rate continues ... Is biofuel production from land uncoltivated a solution? In addition, there is much for field where production of cane sugar are consumed uncoltivated more CO2 than the earth ... Why would someone say that a problem? Thank you

If you need of food, then it must produce food, leaving the land that is not needed for food production to nature (improving farming techniques in developed countries have resulted in more food produced on less land, allowing us to return farmland to nature, continuous improvement in productivity which may result from increased use of genetic engineering should allow other land to be returned to nature while feeding more people with greater food security). Doing a bit of biofuels from waste that people and animals eat the grass can not be done, but only biofuels will not be a major source of fuel (think how fast you passed by fossil fuels and recognize that biofuels are formed over millions of years). Biofuels have caused problems with our food supply (although they mainly relate to the third) in the world. The long term solution to transportation fuels is likely to include a lot of electricity and the production of synthetic fuels (hydrogen or synthetic hydrocarbons, I lean toward evening).
