Blending ethanol with unleaded gasoline creates a liquid whose vapor pressure is higher than unleaded petrol only. In other words, the mixture of mixture volatilizes (evaporates) much faster than regular unleaded gasoline only. In reservoirs fuel large, as in an automobile, increased volatilization no problem with the injection system of fuel today.
