I have a gas airsoft gun and i cannot find any propane tanks that will work with my adapter?

Can i use the big tanks used for barbaqueing? Can i find these tanks that work atosh or ace hardware. Everytime i look all the tanks are over 50$. please help.

First off I wouldn't recommend using the the big BBQ gas tanks only because it's quite a lot of gas and unless you play daily and shoot mags upon mags you won't need that much gas. Plus odds are you'll end up losing a lot of the gas due to natural slow leaks, so you'd be wasting money. You can use it, but it wouldn't make too much sense unless you're planning on going to games and filling up everyone's propane powered gun(s).

A 16oz tank is about all you'll really need. That should last you pretty good.

Second, the link below this paragraph is the type of adapter you'll need for your standard small sized propane tank. It will fit the 16oz tank mentioned above.
